father Keith Irving Pitts (born and living in Michigan)

grandfather Irving Harold Pitts (born and died in Michigan)

great grandfather Harold Austin Pitts (born and died in Michigan)

great-great grandfather Ervin W. Pitts (born and died in Michigan)

great-great-great grandfather Austin ??? Pitts
BORN:  2/28/1834 New York  DIED:  2/1/1918 Port Arthur, Texas

Austin's death certificate says father was born in New York and his first name is Geo

Thanks for posting your pedigree.  I looked at your ggggrandfather's death
certificate.  A public tree on Ancestry.com shows Phoebe J. Van Buren (1835-1900) to have been his spouse and shows an Ervin W. Pitts (1868-1908) as a child.  Ervin
died Sept 5, 1908 in Livingston County Michigan

Ervin Pitts spouse was Mary Ellen Radford bb 1869
Ervin and Mary Ellen Pitts had a child Harold Austin Pitts (1902-1982)

So I'm guessing that this is your tree that I found on Ancestry.com
