Hello,
My last name is Harrison, of the Russell County VA Harrisons, but I found out that my GGGrandfather was a Hicks and that genetically I am a Patrick. There is another known adoption, though unrelated. I am matched through another site to a Patrick in Ohio, his line traces back to Harmon Patrick who left Hardy WVA in the early 1800's. It looks like I am related to Robert Patrick b1705 and thus related to the Patricks of Russell County, VA though not as closely as to the descendant of Harmon.
I suspect my GGrandfather Charles as the link, there is a suggestion via his Death Certificate, so I am looking around in that area.
I'll keep you posted and welcome any suggestions in the Harmon area.
