Facebook, Twitter, and More!

We at WorldFamilies are now on Twitter, blogging, and have a facebook page!  We're joining the social media revolution because we think its going to help us share the exciting ways that DNA tests can add to genealogy.  Equally as exciting, we hope its a way to hear more feedback from the genetic genealogy community.

If you've never used Twitter before, don't worry, its new to us too.  Twitter can be a great tool to find out from many sources what is going on in the genealogy community.  Already we're excited by connections we've made.  If you've been hearing about Twitter, but aren't sure what the fuss is all about, check us out.  Our Twitter name is @WorldFamilies.  On Twitter, you can post short (140 characters or less) updates and you can "follow" other users to see what they are "tweeting" about.  It can be a great way to find out about genealogy events, to ask questions of other users, or find new blogs and websites to explore.

Also, we have a Facebook page for our Project Administrators.  This could be a great location for you to share stories and ask questions about running projects.  We'll be adding to our content there as well.

Many of you may be familiar with our blog (you've made it here now!), but we've made some changes to it too.  We're most excited that you can now comment on our posts.  To do so, you just need to make sure you've logged in.  We've also expanded blog posts to include more of the WorldFamilies family, not just Terry.  This means we'll be putting together a lot more content.

Thanks for reading!
